LAST MEETING
Radford held Charleston Southern to 23.7 percent shooting (the lowest by an RU opponent this season) en route to a 55-40 home win over the Buccaneers on Jan. 19.

Gaby Gilmore contributed a game-high 22 points on 7 of 10 shooting to lead three Highlanders in double-figure scoring. Aisha Foy (13) and Alexis Jackson (10) also reached double digits. Ke'Asia Jackson totaled 11 points for CSU.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
Radford (12-11, 8-6 Big South) earned an important 54-51 comeback victory over Gardner-Webb in its last time out. The Highlanders' win, combined with a High Point loss, vaulted RU ahead of the Panthers for fifth place in the Big South standings. Radford is a half-game ahead of HPU entering this weekend. High Point hosts Gardner-Webb, Saturday.

With six games remaining in their regular season, the Highlanders are in a dogfight for a first-round bye, which is given to the top five teams in the conference standings. Radford will have to prove itself on the road, as four of those six games will be away from the Dedmon Center. RU is 3-8 on the road this season.

Foy leads the Highlanders in the scoring column, averaging 13.2 points per game, which rank ninth among Big South players. The Virginia Beach, Va., native ranks fourth in the conference with her 35.9 percent accuracy from 3-point range. She ranks fifth all-time in program history for 3-pointers made in a career (129).

Janayla White joins Foy in double-figure scoring at 11.3 points per game. Behind her 10.2 rebounding average, which leads the league, White is the only Big South women's basketball player to average a double-double. She is on pace to post a top-five single-season mark in rebounding by the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

White ranks second in the conference in blocks per game (2.0). She ranks fifth all-time in career blocks in program history with 96. White also leads the Big South in field-goal percentage (.582).

SCOUTING CHARLESTON SOUTHERN
CSU was unable to hold on to its 28-20 third-quarter lead Tuesday against Presbyterian, eventually dropping a 52-37 decision to the Blue Hose in Clinton, S.C. Rachel Burns led the Bucs with 12 points in just 18 minutes of action.

In addition to High Point, Charleston Southern is another team that is within two games of the fifth-place Highlanders. The Bucs are 8-4 at home this season.

Alyssa Mann, who returned from an injury when these two teams played for the first time this season, is Charleston Southern's leading scorer at 14.3 points per game, which rank third in the Big South.

Mann (34) and Shauntavia Dobson (40) are the Bucs' top threats from 3-point land. Dobson ranks sixth in the league with her 34.2 percent accuracy from downtown.

In the paint, Monique Maximilien averages 8.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. She ranks third in the Big South in blocks per game (1.9).

Radford (second) and CSU (fourth) possess two of the top four defenses in the conference. RU holds opponents to 54.9 points per game, while the Bucs limit their foes to 58.8 points per game.

UP NEXT
