WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Nick Brediger notched his fifth under-par round of the season, carding a 1-under-par 69 to lead Radford during Monday's second round of the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary at Kingsmill Resort's River Course.

The Highlanders (591), who trimmed three strokes off their opening-round 297, are only two shots outside the top 10.

Myles Creighton continues to lead RU in the individual standings. The sophomore is tied for 14^th at 144 (71-73). Behind his strong second round, Brediger ascended 50 spots and is now tied for 32^nd at 146 (77-69).

On the strength of a tournament-record 6-under-par 64 on Monday, Penn State's Charles Huntzinger extended his lead for medalist honors. At 9-under-par 131, he is six swings clear of TCU's Paul Barjon.

It is shaping up to be a battle for the team title as 27^th-ranked Penn State and 46^th-ranked Tennessee are tied atop the leaderboard at 569. TCU is third at 575. The Horned Frogs carded the low round of the day (280).

Tuesday's final round begins with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. Teams are paired in groups of four. Radford will join Ohio, Old Dominion and Seton Hall for the tournament's final 18 holes.
