WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Radford women's golf team tied for 17th upon conclusion of Tuesday's final round of the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary at Kingsmill Resort's River Course.
Radford (983) slipped two spots in the team standings following a 345 in the final round. On the strength of a 308, Toledo was able to hold on for the team title at 908. Second-place Penn was eight strokes behind at 916.
Toledo's Sathika Ruenreong edged overnight leader Alessandra Liu of William & Mary for medalist honors. She posted a 1-over-par 217 (71-73-73) to slip past Liu by one shot.
Larissa Carter was the top Highlander in the individual standings at 239 (76-79-84), which tied for 36th.
Up next, Radford heads to Georgetown, S.C., for the 2016 Big South Women's Golf Championship. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at DeBordieu Club, April 11-13.
