NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Radford men's golf team finished in ninth following Tuesday's final round of the Bash at the Beach hosted by Appalachian State at The Surf Golf and Beach Club (par 71, 6,741 yards).

By carding a 300 in their final round, the Highlanders slipped three spots in the team standings. James Madison, who was the overnight leader, used an 8-under-par 276 Tuesday to post a 15-shot victory over Arkansas State. The Dukes tallied a 13-under-par 839 (291-272-276).

Ryan Cole paced JMU with his 8-under-par 205 (71-67-67), which was good enough for medalist honors. A quartet of golfers finished in a tie for second place at 208.

Conner Lewis was the top Highlander on the individual leaderboard, returning a 217 (71-72-74) to the clubhouse to tie for 23rd.

After playing three consecutive weeks, the Highlanders are off until the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary, March 20-22, at Kingsmill Resort's River Course in Williamsburg, Va.
