SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Nick Brediger is tied for seventh place while the Radford men's golf team is seventh through Monday's two rounds at the Coca-Cola Invitational.

Behind a team-best 11 birdies, Brediger carded a 4-under-par 140 (70-70). His 11 birdies are tied for the second-most in the field. Brediger now has seven under-par rounds in his junior season.

Hayden is right behind in a tie for 19^th at 1-under-par 143 (74-69). The senior notched 10 birdies over his 36 holes. He is 1-under-par in par-3 scoring, which is tied for the best ledger in the field.

On the strength of 25 pars, which are tied for the fourth-best mark in the tournament, Conner Lewis returned a 145 (72-73) to the clubhouse. He is tied for 31^st with 18 holes to go.

Gareth Sargent, who notched the Highlanders' only eagle of the day, is tied for 39^th at 146 (73-73). Myles Creighton rounds out the RU lineup in a tie for 43^rd at 147 (74-73).

Radford, which is only 10 shots behind team leader Gardner-Webb, logged a 2-under-par 574 (289-285). The Highlanders tallied 44 birdies on the day, which are tied for the second-most in the field.

Vincent Blanchette, who tied a tournament 36-hole record with his 11-under-par 133 (68-65), fueled the Runnin' Bulldogs' charge to the top of the team leaderboard. Gardner-Webb's 564 (283-281) is two shots clear of USC Upstate and Wofford.

RU will tee off Tuesday's final round with Coastal Carolina and Austin Peay at 9:30 a.m. on holes 7-9.
