WOMEN’S LACROSSE HOSTS PRESBYTERIAN IN BIG SOUTH ACTION SATURDAY

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's lacrosse team returns home for Saturday's Big South contest vs. Presbyterian College at Cupp Stadium. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m. with temperatures expected to be hovering 40 degrees and wind blowing 20-25 mph.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
The Highlanders (1-9, 0-3 Big South) enjoyed their league bye after going 0-2 against Gardner-Webb and Campbell last week. Radford finds itself in eighth place in the conference standings with five regular-season games remaining.

Gracie Peterson and Emma Rogers are tied for the team lead in goals scored with 20. Their two goals per game average are tied for ninth among Big South players.

Adrian Rius continues to lead the conference in draw controls per game (4.3). Meanwhile, Hannah Rosen holds the top mark for saves per game (11.5) and ground balls per game (3.5).

SCOUTING PRESBYTERIAN
The Blue Hose (2-10, 0-4 Big South) enters the weekend in last place in the league standings. PC has dropped its last six games after defeating Howard, 20-7, in Washington, D.C.

Saturday's game is part of a two-contest weekend for the Blue Hose, who play Central Michigan at home on Sunday.

Lauren Schaaf is Presbyterian's top goal scorer with 21 markers. Sophia Cuzzupe has a team-best 37 ground balls, while notching 49 saves in goal for the Blue Hose. PC leads the Big South in ground balls per game with 25.08.
