BURLINGTON, N.C. – All five members of the Radford men's golf team carded a one-under or better in either round, which put the Highlanders in second place after two rounds of play at the Phoenix Invitational on Monday.

Peter Gasperini and Hunter Duncan combined for a six birdies as each of the players carded a two-under in the first round. Duncan had four of the birdies and Gasperini tallied two. Duncan recorded a one-under in the front and back nine, while Gasperini shot even in the front nine and two-under in the back nine.

Ben Ramsey tallied four birdies of his own and shot a one-under in the first round. He tallied two birdies in the front-nine and two birdies in the back-nine.

In the second round Gareth Sargent and Myles Creighton picked up the slack combining for seven birdies. Sargent tallied three and Creighton picked up four. Creighton shot a two-under, while Sargent scored a one-under.

The Highlanders shot the best in par fours as they scored even as a team. Duncan is tied for 12^th in the individual leaderboard, while Ben Ramsey is in second.
