MEN’S HOOPS WITH 27 GAMES TO BE BROADCAST LIVE IN 2017-18

BROADCAST SCHEDULE | 2017-18 SCHEDULE

RADFORD, Va. –
The Radford men's basketball team will have 27 of its 31 games broadcasted live and available for your viewing pleasure as the Big South announced the full slate of televised games on Tuesday.

The Highlanders will have 18 games broadcasted on the Big South Network, three on ESPN3 and the remaining six on a variety of other networks.

The most notable is the Vanderbilt game on Nov. 28, which will be broadcast nationally on the SEC Network. The SEC Network is a channel developed by ESPN, which airs 24/7 on various cable providers. The game can also be seen on the SEC Network+, which is found online. Subscribers of AT&T U-verse, Charter, Comcast, Cox, DIRECTV, DISH and many others have full access to the SEC Network+.

Two of the more prominent games will be broadcasted on Big Ten Network Plus and ACC Network Extra, respectively. The Big Ten Network Plus includes non-televised games and events streamed on BTN2Go, produced in conjunction with the Big Ten Universities. The ACC Network Extra can be accessed on computers, smartphones, tablets and TVs that are capable of streaming ESPN.

Radford will face Ohio State on Nov. 12, which will be televised on Big Ten Network Plus and take on Virginia Tech on Dec. 6 and can be seen on ACC Network Extra.

The Highlanders will travel to Reno, Nev., on Dec. 17 and face Nevada, which will be televised on AT&T SportsNet. AT&T SportsNet is the collective name for a group of regional sports networks in the United States that are primarily owned and operated by AT&T Sports Networks, LLC, a division of AT&T Inc.

The other host site of the Las Vegas Classic is San Francisco on Dec. 19. The game against the Dons can be seen on TheW.TV, which is the West Coast Conference's home for WCC action on both linear television and in the digital space. TheW.tv delivers live event coverage free of charge.

A new player in the sports live-streaming space, Stadium, is an online channel broadcasted 24 hours a day on Twitter. The Highlanders will make their debut on Stadium when they host Charleston Southern on Jan. 27.

Radford will have three games presented on ESPN3, which will include road trips to East Carolina (Nov. 15), VMI (Dec. 2) and Gardner-Webb (Jan. 12).

All other games, with the exception of Elon and the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic games - that will be played inside Orleans Arena - can be seen on the Big South Network.

The Highlanders kick off their 2017-18 campaign with a FREE exhibition on Friday against West Virginia State, followed by the season opener on Nov. 10 against Georgia Southwestern. Both games are set to tip-off at 7 p.m.
