HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Radford men's golf team is set to open the spring season participating in the 12th-annual Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by Francis Marion at the Wexford Plantation course. Play begins on Monday and Tuesday at 8:15 a.m., with shotgun starts.
The Highlanders begin the spring season after competing in four tournaments in the fall. Their best finish as a team was 8th out of 16 teams in the Golfweek Program Challenge at the True Blue Golf Club in Pawleys Island, S.C.
The Wexford Intercollegiate is the first of four tournaments that the men's golf team will compete in prior to the Big South Men's Golf Championship beginning on April 21.
