MEN’S GOLF MAINTAINS SIXTH IN FINAL DAY OF PINEHURST INTERCOLLEGIATE

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
• Name: Pinehurst Intercollegiate
• Course (par / yardage): Pinehurst No. 8 (par 71 / 6,937 yards)
• Location: Pinehurst, N.C.
• Results
PINEHURST, N.C. – The Radford men's golf team went par for course in the team leaderboard and held it's sixth place position on the final day of action at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate.
The team finished the round with a 293, tying them for the second best of any team at the tournament, but finished the tournament with an 897 final score. The Highlanders finished better than seven Division I opponents including; Siena, Xavier, Northern Kentucky, Morehead State, Belmont, Boston College and Marshall.
Nick Brediger shot even (71) on the day, the best out of any Highlander, while Conner Lewis shot three over (74), but moved up 19 spots in the individual leaderboard. He finished the first day tied for 63rd.
Myles Creighton finished in the top five of the leaderboard for the second consecutive time this season. He medaled in the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate and went on to win Big South Golfer of the Week.
For Gareth Sargent, his 25th spot in the individual leaderboard is the highest finish for him in the 2016-17 season.

Radford will travel to Williamsburg, Va., to compete in the Kingsmill Invitational hosted by William and Mary and held at the Kingsmill River Course. The three-day invitational will begin on Sunday, March 19.
