SOFTBALL HOME OPENER VS. VIRGINIA MOVED TO WEDNESDAY

Live Video | Live Stats

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford softball team will have to wait one more day to play its first home game, as Tuesday's scheduled doubleheader against Virginia has been postponed due to rain in the forecast. The teams will now play a single game on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Radford Softball Stadium.

Virginia leads the all-time series 18-15 and won two of three meetings last season. The teams split two neutral-site games (Radford won 6-3 and lost 3-2) before the Cavaliers posted a 5-2 home win. The Highlanders are hosting Virginia for the first time since 2011 when they swept a doubleheader.
