NINETY SIX, S.C. – Coming off a fifth place finish and winners of the consolation bracket at its previous tournament, the Radford women's golf team is geared up for the Big South Championship, which begins on Monday and concludes on Wednesday at the Patriot at Grand Harbor golf course.

The Highlanders last competed on April 4 at the Oyster Shuck Match Play in Charleston, S.C. Radford won the final two of its matches to finish in fifth place in its first ever first match play tournament.

Khushboo Thiagaraj leads the squad averaging only a seven-over for the season. Meagan Board comes in with a 10-over for the season, but has improved in every tournament this spring. Morgan Cox, Olivia Jay and Kasidy Beckel will round out the five competing in the tournament for Radford.

Radford is no stranger to The Patriot golf course as the team played on the course in the fall as part of the Big South Preview. Thiagaraj finished 21^st overall in the tournament and Cox finished with a team-high four birdies.
