LACROSSE BUMPS UP START TIME FOR FINAL HOME GAME AGAINST CAMPBELL



RADFORD, Va. – Due to inclement weather in the forecast the Radford women's lacrosse game against Campbell has been moved up to an 8 a.m., start time at Cupp Stadium on Saturday. It will be the final home game of the year for the Highlanders.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS

•  Radford (6-9, 2-4 Big South) looks to bounce back after a tough 13-10 loss to in-state rival, Liberty, in Lynchburg, Va., on Wednesday night.
•  Adrian Rius was stellar in the game and had five goals and nine draw controls, which tied a career-high in both categories.
•  Radford has scored 188 goals this season and is averaging 13.5 goals per game, second-most in the Big South.
•  Lindsey Carroll has been creating scoring chances and has a conference-high 34 assists this season with 10 in one game. She sits on top of the Big South leaderboard with 2.27 assists per game.
•  Emma Rogers has been getting great opportunities at the net and has scored 45 goals this season. She is scoring three goals per game, which is tops in the Big South.
•  The combination of goals and assists has put Radford second in the Big South averaging 20 points per game.
•  Led by Adrian Rius, the conference leader in draw controls with 89 (5.46 per game), the Highlanders lead the Big South with 233 total draw controls and are averaging 15.53 per game.
 
SCOUTING CAMPBELL
• Campbell (8-7, 5-1 Big South) fell to conference leader High Point, 17-10 on Wednesday night. Even with the loss the Fighting Camels have won seven of their last 10 games.
•  The Fighting Camels have only committed 234 turnovers, which is the fewest in the Big South.
•  As a team, Campbell has taken 27 shots per game and has converted on 12 per game. The 12.13 goals per game they are averaging is good for fourth in the Big South.
•  Melissa Placek has a team-high 39 goals and 77 draw controls. She ranks in the top 10 in the Big South in both categories, but is second in draw controls per game with 5.13.
•  Kayla Reilly has a team-high 57 points and has assisted on 33 goals this season.

UP NEXT
The Highlanders have clinched a spot in the Big South Tournament and will play next Saturday, but the opponent, location and game time is still TBA.
