QUOTABLE

"Opening weekend is always hit or miss since you don't really know your team or your opponent. We are hoping that our starting point is a good one to build on throughout the year. You don't win or lose a championship this weekend; you identify weaknesses and work to get better so by November you give yourself a chance." – Volleyball head coach, Marci Jenkins.
