WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Radford women's golf team finished the first day of play at the William & Mary Fall Invitational in 10^th place at the Kingsmill River Course on Sunday evening.

Through the first two rounds of play the team shot a 652, but improved their round two score by 10 strokes. The first round saw the team shoot a 331 and the second round score was improved to a 321. The top finish by a Highlander is newcomer Sidney Walker with an 11-over score (155). She shot a 78 in round one and improved her score in round two with a 77.

Meagan Board saw the most improvement from round one to two as she shot a 10-over (82) and shot a five-over (77) in the second round. Khushboo Thiagaraj stayed consistent throughout the day as she shot 10-over each round. The two are tied for 43^rd place.

Morgan Cox and Kasidy Beckel improved their scores as well through each round. Cox cut her play down four strokes to finish with a 174 and Beckel cut her play by two strokes to have a 178.
