WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Radford women's golf team completed play at the William & Mary Fall Invitational and remained in 10th place with a 969 total team score at the Kingsmill River Course on Sunday evening.
In the final round of play, the Highlanders improved their score as they did in round two. Their score improved four strokes as three of the five players improved their scores. Finishing as the top Highlander in the tournament is freshman, Sidney Walker.
Walker made her debut on Sunday and finished 18-over in a tie for 32nd for her first collegiate tournament. In the final day of the tournament she finished plus-seven (79) with one birdie. Khushboo Thiagaraj cut her strokes down by five from the past two rounds and finished five-over (77).
Thiagaraj finished in a tie for 50th with Meagan Board as each of them had an overall score of 241. Board had the most birdies on the team in the third round. Her two birdies came on the back nine as she birdied hole 10 and 17.
Morgan Cox and Kasidy Beckel improved their scores as well. Cox cut her play down six strokes to finish with a 253 overall score and Beckel cut her play by three strokes to have a 253.
