ABOUT THE MATCHUPS
Radford has played Hampton six times and holds a 5-1 advantage in the overall series. Campbell and Radford have faced off 33 times and Radford leads the all-time series with a 29-4 record.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
The Highlanders have started Big South play with a 3-1 record, which mirrors their start in 2017 at 3-1.  They lead the Big South with a .228 hitting percentage while also holding their opponents to just a .159 hitting percentage. Radford is led by Mallory McKnight and Valerie Gonzalez who have combined for 250 kills which has helped the team sit comfortably at second in the conference with 630 total kills (13.4 per set). McKnight has also combined with Amaya Rousseau and Stephanie Neast for 91 total blocks on the season, which is better than four other teams in the Big South.

LAST TIME OUT
Radford last took the court this past Saturday when they hosted High Point. The team was swept in three sets by the Panthers who held them to just a .079 hitting percentage. Despite the setback, Haley Kleespies continued to raise her assist total with 28 in the match while freshman Grace Green recorded 12 digs against a hard-hitting Panthers squad.

BACK IN 2016…
The Highlanders last faced Hampton (who recently joined the Big South) in Greensboro, N.C., at the Spartan/Aggie Invitational. Neast and Gonzalez both had a hand in the match with five kills each. The team also amassed 15 aces with six different players recording at least one.

SCOUTING HAMPTON
The Lady Pirates are coming off a four set loss against USC Upstate last Friday with a full week of rest under their belt. They are fourth in the conference with 651 kills (11.84 per set) with Megann Delgado leading the team with 206 (3.75 per set), which is best in the Big South. Sophomore Lena Reed-Patrick has been the friendly hand for her team with 436 assists (8.23 per set). Hampton's opponents average a .217 hitting percentage, which should open up a good opportunity for the Highlanders.

SCOUTING CAMPBELL
The Camels are coming off a three set loss to High Point this past Tuesday. The Camels also have three Big South victories so far this season led by freshman stand-out Sarah Collah who has 195 kills (3.55 per set). The Highlanders will have to be careful around the net, as Campbell is third in the conference with 103 total blocks. Campbell has four players with over 25 total blocks compared to the Highlanders who have two.
