RADFORD TO PLAY COLGATE TUESDAY AT SOUTHERN VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY



RADFORD, Va. – Due to inclement weather in the New River Valley, Radford will play Colgate at The Fields at Southern Virginia University in Buena Vista, Va., for a Tuesday afternoon neutral site matchup slated to begin at 2 p.m.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
  • Radford (3-2) defeated Butler on Saturday afternoon, 21-12, which was the first of six straight games held at Cupp Stadium in March.
  • Callie Bonnel and Adrian Rius finished with five goals each while Lindsey Carroll and Brittany Rinaldi provided three goals each as well.
  • Carroll recorded a season-high three assists, two ground balls and one draw control.
  • Bonnel leads the Highlanders with 18 goals and 17 draw controls.
  • Rinaldi leads the squad with nine caused turnovers. Three different players are just behind her with seven each.
  • Carroll has a team-high five assists and is second on the team with 17 points.
  • Radford has done a nice job of creating their own shots, as 51 of their 71 goals have been unassisted.
  • The Highlanders are a second half team scoring 41 goals in the second half on 85 shots.
 
SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
  • Colgate, members of the Patriot League, came away with a 10-9 victory over Davidson on Saturday.
  • One of the two Raiders' losses came on March 6th against No. 22 Cornell. Colgate took the Big Red to overtime, but fell 11-10 on the sudden victory goal.
  • Colgate has outscored its opponents, 68-57, this season. Most of the credit goes to Haley O'Hanlon with a team-high 20 goals.
  • O'Hanlon is the only Raider with double-digit goals this season.
  • In the net, Samantha Croston has played every minute this season. She has 60 saves with a 4-2 record.
