GREENVILLE, N.C. – Jumping 15 spots in the final round of play, Myles Creighton shot one-under and finished the ECU Intercollegiate tied for sixth on Tuesday. The team moved up one spot and finished sixth.

KEY STORYLINES
- The Highlanders improved their score by five strokes from round two to three.
- The improvement helped them move up, but the rest of the field had a great day and only allowed them to jump one spot.
- The 298 round three finish propelled them to a tie for sixth place.
- Myles Creighton was on the outside looking in after the first day, but capitalized on the final round.
- He shot one-under (71) and enhanced his score in each round. The three-stroke improvement led him to a tie for sixth place finish.
- He has now finished inside the top 10 in nine consecutive spring tournaments.
- Peter Gasperini slipped a little, but still finished with a top 15 finish. He shot four-over (76) and ended in a tie for 14th place.
- The team had a lot of pars in the final day of action and Gareth Sargent led the way with three birdies.
- Sargent and Hunter Duncan improved their scores and moved up on the leaderboard.
- East Carolina came from behind and medaled by one stroke over Georgetown.
- Campbell trumped Charleston Southern and shot a field-best 291 for the third place spot.
