SETTING THE STAGE
Competing at N.C. State's Raleigh Relays, the Radford women's track & field team is coming off yet another spectacular weekend filled with personal and program records. The biggest accomplishment came from the 4x100-meter relay team of Kierra Henderson, Amelia Reynolds, Alexis Stafford and La'Tisha Chambers, which set a new school record with a time of 46.93 seconds.

Reynolds also dominated in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay alongside Ryan Paine, La'Tisha Chambers and Karah Foster, leading to her second straight Big South Women's Track Athlete of the Week award. She is the first Highlander to earn the distinction in back-to-back weeks and even the first to earn it twice in one season.

This weekend's Gamecock Invitational presents the team with another opportunity to improve and work towards their peak performance which will hopefully come at next month's Big South Championships. The Highlanders will see a couple of athletes compete on Saturday that haven't seen a ton of action this season including freshmen Quentasia Reed and Madeline Tilley.

It's the first single-day meet of the outdoor season for Radford so Saturday will be chock full of events from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

UP NEXT
After a break next weekend, the Highlanders will head to Durham, N.C. for the Duke Invitational on Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21.
