RADFORD, Va. – The Radford volleyball team welcomes High Point to the Dedmon Center on Saturday at 4 p.m., for championship caliber match.

ABOUT THE MATCHUP
Radford leads the series 28-20 against High Point. The last time the two teams met was in the Big South Championship title match last season. The Highlanders won 3-1 and earned the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The Highlanders have 120 more kills than their opponents and are only two kills away from 600. Radford has a .238 attack percentage and has held its opponents to a .148 attack percentage. Mallory McKnight leads the Highlanders and the Big South with a .372 hitting percentage. McKnight also leads Radford and places fifth in the Big South with 2.98 kills per set. The Highlanders also have 72 service aces as Haley Kleespies leads with 26, while Alyssa Carruth isn't far behind with 18.

LAST TIME OUT
The Highlanders defeated Winthrop 3-0 on Tuesday night. Kylie Tuxford tied a season-high with 11 kills and Radford held the Eagles to a .111 hitting percentage, which is the lowest any opponent has hit against the Highlanders this season.

ABOUT HIGH POINT
The Panthers (6-8, 2-1) split a pair of matches with Gardner-Webb and Winthrop last weekend. High Point beat Gardner-Webb 3-0 Friday night and fell to Winthrop 3-0 on Saturday afternoon. Senior Molly Livingston leads HPU with 2.90 kills per set with a .343 hitting percentage. Livingston is currently third in the Big South Conference in hitting percentage and sixth in kills per set. Sophomore Abby Bottomley is the top defensive player logging 5.49 digs per set. She leads the Big South Conference and places 18th in the NCAA in the category.
