  • Radford is looking to continue its recent Big South success to try and grab their third straight conference victory after beating UNC Asheville last week and USC Upstate on Wednesday.
  • The Highlanders and Panthers have always played close matches in the two teams' history together, with no match being decided by a margin larger than two goals.
  • Radford and High Point have just two common foes this season in Elon and Western Carolina. Both teams dropped their two matches against those teams. In conference play however, both squads are 2-0 against common foes UNC Asheville and USC Upstate.
  • The Highlanders have won the last two match-ups, both coming in the regular and postseason of 2018. The postseason win was their first in the 2018 Big South Championships, in a convincing 2-0 final score with Radford taking 29 total shots.
  • Junior Gabi Paupst and senior Nelia Perez continue to lead the way for the Highlanders with a combined 13 of the team's 21 goals scored this year. The duo scored two goals apiece in their last game against USC Upstate.
  • Despite playing in two games less than the current Big South leader, Paupst's seven goals are third best in the conference which is just one goal behind the leader.
  • Second half scoring continues to be the mantra for the Highlanders, with all six of their goals in their last two victories coming in the second half.
  • Radford's stout defense leads the conference in goals allowed this season, averaging a blistering 0.62 goals per game.
  • High Point is a shot-selective team as it only averages 11.38 shots a game (seventh in the conference) to go with their 1.46 goals per game (fourth in the conference).
  • The Panthers have a deceptive 6-6-1 overall record, with the team already taking down a Big South perennial force Gardner-Webb, 1-0, last Wednesday. When at home the team is 3-1-1 while their road record flips to just 3-5.
