RADFORD, Va.—The Highlanders have played a total of four games away to start the 2019-20 season. Radford will take on Mount St. Mary's (Md.) for the 2019-20 home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 26th at 6:00 p.m.

The Highlanders went to Johnson City, Tenn. last week and squabbled with the Buccaneers, besting them 67-43. Radford evened the All-Time series at 11 with ETSU behind a career day from sophomore
Bryonna McClean. Making her first collegiate start, she did not disappoint. McClean tallied a career high 14 points, three rebounds, an assist, a block, two steals, going 5-for-8 from the floor and 3-for-5 from behind the arc all in 22 minutes played. Her phenomenal performance was accompanied by a double-double from
Khiana Johnson, her first of the season and second of her career. Johnson was a presence in Brooks Gym, dishing out 10 assists to go along with her 11 points.
This will be the 11th meeting between these two programs, with the All-Time series favoring The Mount at 8-2. The history between these teams date back to the 1992 season, with the latest matchup coming last season. The Mountaineers took down the Highlanders on in Emmitsburg, Md. 89-77. Mount St. Mary's increased their point production by 10 in the first, second, and third quarters. They scored 10 points to start, then 20 in the second, and 30 after halftime. A Radford win would improve the Highlanders to three games in the All-Time series and increase the Highlanders' home opener win streak to 7-0 in the McGuire era. A loss would stretch the series to 9-2 in favor of Mount St. Mary's. It would also break the home opener winning streak under McGuire to 6-1.
Jen Falconer is 13 games away from tying
Jayda Worthy (2014-18) for career games played at 123.
Khiana Johnson is 38 points away from joining the 1,000-point club. Falconer & Johnson are also two and three in career three-point attempts at 338 and 309. Falconer is ninth in career assists at 263.
Sydney Nunley has now solidified herself at No.7 in individual career blocks at 96.
Mount St. Mary's is currently 2-3, riding a single game victory over UMBC at 71-61. The Mount opened the season with back-to-back losses to Kentucky (67-44) and Indiana (75-52). In the meantime, they've faced Frostburg St. (W, 94-40) and Towson (L, 73-57).
Through the three games played the Highlander bench has produced a total of 76 points, averaging about 19 points per game.
