THE SERIES
Radford is 61-16 all-time against Winthrop. The Highlanders have won seven straight in the series and have not lost since 2/17/15 in Rock Hill.

LAST TIME OUT
Radford shot a season-high 51 percent from the floor en route to an 81-52 victory against the Longwood Lancers, on Saturday afternoon at the Dedmon Center.  The Highlanders, who never trailed in the contest, have now won nine straight and improved to 9-1 on their home floor this season. Radford now has a two-game lead in the Big South standings with six games remaining.Senior guard/forward Destinee Walker produced a team-high 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 3-for-6 from behind the arc.  Redshirt junior center Sydney Nunleyrecorded 17 points, four blocks and a team-high seven rebounds, while freshman guard Makaila Wilson added 13 points off the bench. Wilson hit all five of her field goal attempts, including 3-of-3 from long-distance.

HIGHLANDER MISCELLANEOUS
Radford is two wins in a row from matching an 11-game winning streak that they enjoyed last season...The Highlanders have outscored their opponents by a combined total of just eight points (305-297) in the first quarter this season but are a +192 (1192-1000) over the final three quarters and overtime…Opponents are just 12-for-86 (14 percent) from behind the arc over the last four contests…The Highlanders lead the league with 30 individual double-doubles this season…Rivers (10.4 rpg.) leads the league in rebounding has recorded double-doubles in seven of her last nine contests. She has amassed a conference-high 10 on the season…Classmate Sydney Nunley, who is second in the league in rebounding (9.1 pg.) is right behind her with eight…Senior guard/forward Destinee Walker is just one of two players in the conference to rank in the Top 15 in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals. She has reached double-figures in scoring in 21-of-23 contests this season…Walker is just 12 points shy of moving into the Top 10 on the all-time Radford scoring list…Redshirt junior guard Jen Falconer distributed a season-high eight assists against Longwood.

 ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Winthrop has lost four of their last five contests and are averaging just 49.4 ppg. during the stretch…The Eagles, who are 5-6 at home this season, are last in the Big South in scoring at 55.0 ppg… Kem Nwabudu paces the squad with 9.3 ppg. and has a team-high 29 blocks…Anika Riley is grabbing a team-best 7.6 rebounds per game.

LAST MEETING
Radford hit a season-high 11 three-point field goals and cruised to an 70-49 victory against Winthrop on January 12 at the Dedmon Center. Rivers returned to the lineup after missing the last three contests and posted game-highs of 17 points and 16 rebounds (tied her career-high) in 31 minutes off the bench. Walker contributed 14 points and added a season-best six assists. Nunley posted her sixth straight double-double (14 points, 11 rebounds) and freshman guard Makaila Wilson added a career-high 15 points (5-of-7 treys). Radford, who made 11-of-27 (40.7 percent) attempts from behind the arc on the day, trailed 14-9 after the opening quarter as the visitors raced out to a 10-0 lead at the 4:19 mark. The Highlanders found their footing in the second stanza as they outscored the Eagles by a 16-7 margin to take a 25-21 lead at the break.
