LAST TIME OUT
The Radford men's basketball team dominated in all phases to earn a 72-54 wire-to-wire victory over High Point at the Millis Center on Wednesday night.

Junior center Devonnte Holland was central to that domination, posting his first career double-double with 10 points and a career-high 12 rebounds. His previous career high was eight, which he had done four different times in his time at Radford, but he grabbed seven rebounds on the offensive end alone against the Panthers.

Also playing some of his best basketball on the night was senior forward Ed Polite Jr., who finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, four steals, two blocks and an assist. His defensive intensity set the tone for Radford's entire team which finished with nine steals and 15 forced turnovers.

Of the 13 players on the roster that made the trip, all 13 saw playing time and 10 got on the score sheet. The reserve players certainly played their part, helping earn a 29-11 advantage in bench points.

SERIES HISTORY
Dating back to the 1984-85 season, the Highlanders lead the all-time series with Campbell, 22-19. The home team won each game to split the season series in 2017-18 and the Camels have a 1-0 lead in the 2018-19 season series entering the weekend.

Radford dropped a 68-67 heartbreaker to the Camels earlier this season. Trailing by seven with 22 seconds left, Campbell charged all the way back and snuck away with the win thanks to Chris Clemons' 30-foot buzzer-beater. The nation's leading scorer finished with 39 points.

BIG SOUTH STATISTICAL RANKS
Out of 11 teams in the Big South, the Highlanders rank in the top-3 in several statistical categories:
Points Allowed Per Game – 68.2 – 2nd
Scoring Margin - +6.5 - 2nd
Field Goal Percentage – 46.4% - 2nd
3-Point Field Goal Percentage – 38.1% - 2nd
Rebounding Defense – 31.9 – 2nd
Rebounding Margin - +3.3 – 3rd
Turnovers Per Game – 11.2 – 3rd
Assist/Turnover Ratio – 1.28 – 3rd

20-WIN SEASONS
With its win at High Point on Wednesday night, Radford clinched the 10th 20-win season in Division I program history. Four of those 10 seasons have come under Head Coach Mike Jones, including 2013-14 (22-13), 2014-15 (22-12) and 2017-18 (23-13).

SCOUTING THE CAMELS
The Campbell men's basketball program has been working its way towards becoming a household name over the last couple years for one major reason: Chris Clemons. The senior guard leads the nation in scoring at 30.1 points per game and that's just the tip of the iceberg. He owns the country's longest active double-figure scoring streak at 111 straight games and is now the sixth highest scorer in Division I NCAA Men's Basketball history with 3,106 career points.

As a team, Campbell is scoring 75.9 points per game and holding opponents to 69.9 points per game for a +6.1 scoring margin. Shooting accuracy (45.7%) is a strength as well as turnover margin (+3.6), but rebounding margin (-2.9) is an area they have struggled in. Senior center Andrew Eudy is Clemons' right-hand man with a team-leading 6.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest.

BIG SOUTH TOURNAMENT
With the regular season wrapping up, the Big South Men's Basketball Championship is right around the corner. Radford has already earned a First Round bye, but seeds 6 through 11 will play each other on Tuesday, March 5 to kick things off.

The top seed – whether it be Radford or Campbell – will then host the quarterfinals (Thursday, March 7) and semifinals (Friday, March 8). Finally, the title game will be held at the arena of the highest remaining seed on Sunday, March 10.
