CARLIK JONES SELECTED TO LUTE OLSON AND LOU HENSON ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS

BOSTON, Mass. – Redshirt junior guard Carlik Jones was selected to the Lute Olson and Lou Henson All-American Teams earlier this week.

The Lou Henson Award is presented annually to the nation's top Division I mid-major player, while the Lute Olson Award is presented annually to the nation's top Division I player.

Jones, who helped carry Radford to its second consecutive regular season title, ended the year ranked 28^th in the country averaging 20.0 points per game. He was the only player in the nation to average at least 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per outing. He also closed out the season shooting 48.8 percent from the floor and 40.9 percent from beyond the arc.

The Big South Player of the Year accumulated 18 20-point games, and three of those included 30-point outings. Jones became the seventh player in conference history to reach 1,000+ points and 400+ rebounds and assists in a career. The Cincinnati, Ohio native notched 1,000 career points and ranks eighth in program history with 1,552 points.

Jones was one of 31 Lute Olson All-Americans and the only player from the Big South to be named to both lists.

William & Mary's Nathan Knight claimed the Lou Henson Award, while Oregon's Payton Pritchard is the recipient of the 2019-20 Lute Olson National Player of the Year Award.
