KK Vardar Signs Former Highlander Devonnte Holland

RADFORD, Va. – Former Radford men's basketball player Devonnte Holland was signed by North Macedonian basketball club, KK Vardar, on Wednesday morning.
 
KK Vardar is a North Macedonian basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. The team was established in 1947 and has won the Macedonian championship seven times. The Red Black Army has finished inside the top-3 of the championship six times, with the most recent coming in 2009-10.  
 
Holland finished his career fifth at Radford in field goal percentage shooting 54.3 percent from the floor. He averaged 5.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in just over 16 minutes of action through four years with the Highlanders. The Martinsville, Va., native appeared in 125 games, which ranks ninth all-time in program history.
 
He started 27 of his 31 games last year and recorded 6.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per outing, both career-highs. Holland was efficient from the floor during his senior season shooting close to 60 percent. He tallied a career-high 19 points in the 73-60 victory over Campbell on Feb. 15, and was 9-for-12 (75 percent) from the floor.
