SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Seahawks have faced each other six times but have not seen each other since 2007. Radford won that match up in 2007 in dominant fashion 77-46. The Seahawks own a 4-2 edge over the Highlanders in the series history however, with Radford yet to defeat UNC Wilmington away from the Dedmon Center.

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
UNC Wilmington has gotten off to a rough start against some quality competition this season with a 1-4 record. The team has yet to beat a Division I opponent, but has close losses to Campbell and Coastal Carolina. To start out the season the Seahawks played one of the top teams in the nation Maryland as well as a now-ranked Duke team and came up short in both matches. Sierra DaCosta leads the team offensively with 13.6 ppg while Mary McMillan controls the offense with her team-best 15 assists.

DOUBLE FIGURES GALORE
Against Lees-McRae, Radford had five players that reached double-digit point totals for the first time since they played Gardner-Webb in 2019. Carmen Williams (14), Rachel LaLonde (14), Bridget Birkhead (12), Makaila Brown (14) and Vanessa Blake (14) were the five Highlanders to achieve the mark.

SHARING IS CARING
Radford's ball movement earlier this week was near perfect as the team broke 20+ assists for the first time this season. Nine players had two or more assists while Ashley Tudor led the team for the second time this season with five. Tudor and Kyanna Morgan have been top on the team so far this season with 10 assists each.

DANGEROUS FROM DEEP
So far through five games this season Radford has out-shot their opponent from beyond the arc in all but one game. Both of the Highlanders victories this season came when Radford out-shot their opponent from three and their current ranks in the Big South for three point shooting are second in field goal percentage, first in field goal percentage defense and third in three-pointers made per game. Destinee Marshall and Williams are both shooting over 50% from three this season to lead the team.
