SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Paladins have never played each other before during the regular season. Wednesday's game will be the first meeting between the two programs.

SCOUTING THE PALADINS
Furman has had a successful start to their season in head coach Jackie Carson's 12th season. The Paladins own two victories over Big South teams already this season with wins against Presbyterian (68-39) and UNC Asheville (64-49). Furman just finished up play on the west coast this past weekend, picking up a win over San Diego State in the Raising the B.A.R. Invitational.

Tierra Hodges will be the player to watch out for as she is averaging a double-double this season with 15.2 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. Hodges was named Southern Conference Player of the Week once this season already. Tate Walters also paces the team's offense with 14.3 points per game.

BIRKHEAD SURGING
Bridget Birkhead has played a large role in Radford's last two games scoring double-digit points in both affairs. Birkhead is currently tied for the team lead in three-pointers with eight, two of which came in a crucial stretch at UNC Wilmington this past Sunday. With UNC Wilmington mounting a comeback, Birkhead hit two threes and scored eight points in the fourth quarter to keep the Highlanders out in front.

FIVE HIGHLANDERS REACH 10+ ASSISTS
Radford's quick ball movement this season has paved the way for five Highlanders to reach 10 or more assists through just the first six games of competition. Kyanna Morgan leads the pack with 13 which already ties the total of assists she recorded during the entirety of her freshman season. Ashley Tudor also has ten assists this season matching her freshman year total. Destinee Marshall and the team veterans Rachel LaLonde and Bryonna McClean round out the five Highlanders with double-digit assists on the season.

ON TO DECEMBER
The Highlanders' November schedule has come and gone with the program notching three victories in six games while playing two power conference opponents. The month of December will see the Highlanders primarily on the road, with Wednesday's contest against Furman scheduled to be the final game in the Dedmon Center in 2021 for both the men's and women's basketball teams.
