Highlanders Dispatch Wasps in Preseason Exhibition

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's basketball team looked strong in their final preseason tune-up Thursday night as they cruised to a 93-37 victory over Emory & Henry in the Dedmon Center.

The Highlanders led from the opening jump all the way to the finish in the 56-point victory. Five different players recorded double-digit point totals while five players pulled down five or more rebounds. Emory & Henry shot just 20% from the field and just 11% from three.

Thank you to each and every member of Highlander Nation that came out to Thursday night's game. It was the one of the first basketball games in the Dedmon Center with no attendance limits since March 7, 2020 and it's a special feeling to have our Radford Family back together again.

NEXT UP
The Highlanders move their attention to their season opener which will take place next Wednesday against Pittsburgh. The game is currently set to tip off at 6 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
