Bruner also leads the team in steals (18), assists (59).

Bruner, along with Everette Hammond were named to the Preseason All-Conference team. It was the first time USC Upstate had two players with preseason honors since 2013. Hammond is averaging 12.1 points per game and is second on the team in steals (15) and third on the team in assists (33).

Radford has never lost to USC Upstate in the lone three meetings between the two schools. The Spartans are traveling to the NRV for the second time and lost 81-60 in its lone meeting inside the Dedmon Center on Jan. 22, 2020.
