SERIES HISTORY
Radford and North Carolina A&T will be meeting each other for just the second time in program history this week. The two squads last met in 1989 when the Highlanders pulled away with a 63-52 victory. The Aggies are currently in their first year with the Big South while Radford is competing in its 35th season as a Big South member.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
North Carolina A&T enters Thursday's game on a three-game winning streak with wins over Charleston Southern, Winthrop and UNC Asheville. The Aggies offense has caught fire, scoring 75 or more points in all three of those contests. The team won their last two games despite missing their top scorer and rebounder Alyssia Faye.

BIRKHEAD PLAYS HERO
The Highlanders sealed their first comeback win of the season when trailing at halftime at Charleston Southern last Tuesday night. Bridget Birkhead had the game changing shot for the Highlanders as her three-pointer with 30 seconds on the clock gave the team a four-point lead they would not relinquish. Birkhead's 32 three-pointers and 39.5% shooting percentage from deep currently rank third and second in the Big South, respectively.

WHO'S STEPPING UP
Radford has had a short bench in their last handful of games which has required the team to call on players to step up in larger minutes roles. Danielle Montelbano and Birkhead have both logged over 78 minutes over the last two games while Alyssa Chapman has also stepped into more regular playing time and shined with 17 points. Carmen Williams has also seen her minutes boosted and has scored 11 points and pulled down 10 rebounds over the last two games.

HOME ON THE HORIZON
Radford has spent quite a bit of time away from the Dedmon Center over the last two calendar months. The road warriors have played eight of their last ten games on the road with just two home games over that stretch. The Highlanders will finally return home this Saturday to host fellow Commonwealth rival Longwood.

ICYMI BIG SOUTH SCHEDULE CHANGES
Radford has had three games against Winthrop, High Point, and Hampton all postponed and rescheduled. Radford's road match at High Point has been moved to February 7th at 6 p.m. while the team will host Winthrop on February 17th at 6 p.m. The previously scheduled game at home against Hampton is still postponed without a make-up date determined.
