SERIES HISTORY
Radford and UNC Asheville have met each other countless times over the decades with Radford owning the series edge 57-26. Earlier this season the two teams opened Big South play against each other in an exciting game down in Asheville, N.C. Radford's offense surged early to the tune of 23 first quarter points, but ultimately fell to a comeback in the fourth quarter by their hosts.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
UNC Asheville is owner of the longest losing record in the conference currently as things have not gone the Bulldogs way. The Bulldogs last won in mid-January against Charleston Southern, like Radford's last victory. Last week UNC Asheville played three games against Gardner-Webb (once) and Hampton (twice) and averaged 59 points per game.

UNC Asheville will be led by the familiar Nadiria Evans who has been scoring absurd totals against the Big South for years now. Evans currently ranks second in the Big South in scoring but most recently missed the team's last game against Hampton.

BIRKHEAD FIRST TO 20
Bridget Birkhead became the first Highlander to score 20 points this season last Saturday against Gardner-Webb. Birkhead finished the game with 21 points behind a tied for season-best eight made free throws and her eighth game this season with three or more three-pointers in a game. Birkhead is the Highlanders' top scorer this season averaging 10.6 points per game.

FOCUSING ON CLEAN BALL
Headed into the home stretch of the season the Highlanders will primarily be focused on cleaning up the turnovers and foul trouble. When opponents win the turnover battle Radford owns just a 2-16 record in those games. Getting off to a strong start will also be key as the Highlanders own a 4-3 record when leading at the half compared to a 1-15 record when trailing at halftime.

ICYMI BIG SOUTH SCHEDULE CHANGES
Radford has had two games against Winthrop and Hampton postponed. Radford's previously scheduled home match with Winthrop is now on February 17th at 6 p.m. The previously scheduled game at home against Hampton also has a reschedule date set for February 24th at 6 p.m.
