SERIES HISTORY
Radford and North Carolina A&T will meet up for the second time this season, but for just the third time in program history this week. The two squads last met for the first time in 1989 when the Highlanders pulled away with a 63-52 victory. The Aggies are currently in their first year with the Big South while Radford is competing in its 35th season as a Big South member.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
North Carolina A&T entered the week as one of the hottest teams in the Big South with six straight wins, but had that streak snapped against High Point this past Wednesday. The Aggies scored 75 or more points in all their games during the six-game winning streak, but High Point held the squad to just 53 points to hand them the loss.

Chanin Scott will be the Aggie to watch Saturday as she leads her team in points per game, rebounds per game and assists. Opponents are shooting 44% against North Carolina A&T this season and the Aggies have shot just 29% from three-point range as well.

LALONDE FLIRTS WITH TRIPLE-DOUBLE
Last Tuesday against USC Upstate, Rachel LaLonde was the first Highlander to finish a game with at least 10 points 5 rebounds and 5 assists since Ariel Williams did it against North Carolina to open the 2020-21 season. LaLonde continues to be an offensive and defensive threat for the Highlanders with her seven games with double-digit point totals and a team-best 5.8 rebounds per game.

OUTSHOOTING TEAMS FROM THREE
Radford has been efficient in their three-point shooting all season and that has translated to out-shooting their opponents by 1.7% so far this season. The Highlanders have hit 112 three-pointers this season compared to opponents only hitting 94. Last Tuesday against USC Upstate, both Birkhead and Kyanna Morgan hit a pair of three-pointers to fuel the offensive attack. Birkhead's 38 made three-pointers rank third in the Big South and her 37.6% shooting percentage ranks second.

ICYMI BIG SOUTH SCHEDULE CHANGES
Radford has had three games against Winthrop, High Point, and Hampton all postponed and rescheduled. Radford's road match at High Point has been moved to February 7th at 6 p.m. while the team will host Winthrop on February 17th at 6 p.m. The previously scheduled game at home against Hampton is still postponed without a make-up date determined.
