Men's Golf Wraps Up Seahawk Intercollegiate

WILMINGTON, N.C. – All five members of the Radford men's golf team shot in the 70's in the third and final round of UNCW's Seahawk Intercollegiate on Monday.

As a team, the Highlanders shot below 300 in two out of three rounds in the tournament, cementing a 10th place finish at 32-over par.

Bryce Corbett looked good once again, following up his second-round 71 with an even 72 across the last 18 holes. The Battlefield High School product carded 10 birdies overall and five in the third round alone to shoot +6 and tie for 32nd out of 84 golfers.

Hayden Miller has had his fair share of ups and downs this spring, but the third round of this tournament gives him something to build on as he works on his consistency. The junior recorded a team-high six birdies in the round, including three in a row at one point, to shoot a 1-over par 73. He ends the tournament at +18 and tied for 65th.

His third round may not have been quite as polished as his first two, but Ryan Neil was excellent in Wilmington. He ended the tournament with a 7-over par 79 to finish tied for 17th at +2.

Nicholas Taliaferro (+3, 75) and Tyler Hull (+5, 77) were both solid in the last round of the week, placing tied for 50th and tied for 68th, respectively.
