SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Camels have faced each other 46 times since 1987 with the Highlanders owning a 31-15 edge in the series history. Radford has won 12 of the last 15 meetings, but the Camels and their stout defense have pulled out victories in the last two meetings.

In the lone game between the two teams last season, Radford travelled to Buies Creek, N.C. and was competitive up until the end. Carmen Williams had a big game with six points, seven rebounds and a pair of assists. Vanessa Blake also came off the bench in that game with six points and four rebounds. Wednesday will be the Camels first visit to the Dedmon Center since February 2021.

SCOUTING THE CAMELS
Campbell comes into Wednesday's game on a three-game winning streak with wins over UNC Asheville, USC Upstate and most recently Winthrop. The Camels have been excellent at home with a 7-1 record, but have had struggles on the road with a 3-4 mark. Two of those three road wins have been against Big South foes.

The Camels are currently missing their top scorer on the roster in Shy Tuelle, but have a trio of scorers that have kept the pace throughout the season. Gianni Boone, Brittany Staves and Christabel Ezumah all average over eight points per game and four rebounds per game. The Camels currently rank fifth in the nation for scoring defense, holding opponents to 50.7 ppg while also holding opponents shooting to a fifth-best in the nation mark at 33.1%.

DEFENSE STANDING STRONG
Highlander opponents last week had a tough time scoring as neither opponent scored over 50 points. In those back-to-back games, Radford held Winthrop and Charleston Southern to just 30% (33-109) shooting from the floor. The Eagles and Buccaneers were also a combined 19% (6-31) from three against the stout Highlander defense. Radford is holding all opponents to an average of 63.1 ppg, which ranks fourth in the Big South.

TRAYLOR'S THIRD WEEKLY AWARD
Ashlyn Traylor earned her third Big South Freshman of the Week award, announced this week. It's the Highlanders' fourth weekly award of the season. Traylor earned it after an impressive week that included the first time a Highlander led the team in points, rebounds and assists since Bryonna McClean did so against Coastal Carolina on Dec. 19, 2021.
