SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Panthers have met 55 times with the first meeting coming all the way back in 1980. High Point currently owns the series edge 33-22 and has won the last six straight contests. Before that, though, Radford had won four straight games including a double overtime victory on the road in 2019. While High Point took both meetings last season, Radford played close in both games. Carmen Williams combined for 16 points while Rachel LaLonde also scored 14 against the Panthers last season.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
High Point enters Saturday's match on a three-game winning streak. It's no secret to success for the Panthers as the team has shot lights out especially from three-point range. After just shooting 4-18 against Charleston Southern, the Panthers have kicked it into high gear sinking 33 three-pointers over their last two games against Presbyterian and Winthrop both on the road.

Skyler Curran leads the offensive efforts with 15.5 ppg and is shooting 36% from three this season. Nakyah Terrell averages 10.0 ppg while Jenson Edwards leads the team in assists with 63 while also averaging 9.8 ppg herself.

LAST SECOND THRILLER
Radford had an electric ending to their game last Wednesday against Campbell, overcoming an 11-point deficit to defeat Campbell. Carmen Williams had the heroic shot for the Highlanders, as her made floater with five seconds to go sealed the 54-53 victory. It was a big-time win for the Highlanders, who now own a conference record over .500 and have won three straight contests.

BLAKE DOMINATING THE BOARDS
Something to keep an eye on will be Vanessa Blake's ability to create second chance opportu[1]nities. The sophomore leads the team with 48 offensive rebounds this season and collected six against a tough Campbell squad Wednesday. Radford currently averages six more rebounds a game than High Point. Blake's ability down low will be pivotal in keeping up with the Panthers electric offense.

MEETING OF HOT SHOOTING OFFENSES
Saturday's game will see a meeting between two of the conference's most accurate shooting offenses. High Point (44% overall, 36% from three) and Radford (42% overall, 33% from three) both rank within the top-three for overall shooting and top-three for three-point shooting. The Panthers lean on the three much more, as the Highlanders have attempted 108 less shots from deep.
