SERIES HISTORY
Radford and Western Carolina will meet for the 11th time in program history this week with the Highlanders owning the 7-3 edge. The series has been evenly split 3-3 however, since 2001. Radford last beat the Catamounts in Cullowhee, N.C. on December 9th, 2005, with a 76-74 final score. In the two team's last match-up in the 2017-18 season, Western Carolina came away with a 39-27 win in the low-scoring affair.

SCOUTING THE CATAMOUNTS
Western Carolina enters Thursday's contest off the heels of a dominant win in their home opener 101-27 over Agnes Scott. Five different Catamounts scored double digits with three of those players coming off the bench to combine for 41 points. With 29 fast break points, 58 points in the paint and a whopping 47 points off turnovers the Catamounts took advantage of every opportunity in their opener.

Head coach Kiley Hill enters his fifth season at the helm and brings an experienced roster with eight upperclassmen. Mya Love returns as the team's top-scorer after averaging 10.7 ppg in the 2022-23 campaign. Sophomore Reagan Trumm led the Catamounts' scoring efforts in game one with 20 points, a career-high, and her eighth performance of double digit points in her career.

NEWCOMERS FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Eight different Highlanders made their debuts in Monday's 77-53 win over Concord. Terissa Lavoile-Brice highlighted the night with her double-double of 13 rebounds and 10 points. Joi Williams headlined the freshmen with 14 points thanks in part to three made shots from deep. Ellie Taylor and Taniya Hanner got the starting nod and combined for 15 points and nine rebounds as well.

OWN THE GLASS
Radford broke 40+ rebounds for the first time since February 11, 2023, in their season opener against Concord. The Highlanders dominated on the glass pulling down 20 offensive boards led by Lavoile-Brice's seven. The 43 rebounds helped Radford put up 18 second chance points, double the total of the opposing Mountain Lions. 38 of Radford's 77 points also came within the paint in the contest.
