SERIES HISTORY
Radford and Niagara will meet for the first time in program history on Saturday. Niagara marks the third opponent this season Radford will play its first ever game against.

SCOUTING THE PURPLE EAGLES
Coming off an appearance in the 2023 WNIT, the Purple Eagles have high aspirations this season and were picked to finish first in the MAAC preseason poll. The schedule has been a brutal one for Niagara so far who has faced ranked opponents in two of their last three games including #7 LSU, #2 UCLA and (RV) Maryland.

The Purple Eagles do have a pair of quality wins so far this season against St. Bonaventure and Stonehill. Chardonnay Hartley and Destiny Strother lead the scoring efforts so far with each averaging over 11 points a game. The Purple Eagles rebound and force opponent turnovers at a high margin, as opponents have given up an average of 21 turnovers a game.

TRAYLOR-WALKER DUO HEATING UP
The sisters Ashlyn Traylor-Walker and Pa'Shence Traylor-Walker have been heating up as of late with the duo leading the scoring efforts in each of the last two games. Ashlyn, who's led the team in scoring in all but one game this season, scored 19 points against Northern Illinois and 14 points against Penn State. Pa'Shence has turned into one of the Highlanders' most reliable shooters off the bench as of late scoring 11 points against Northern Illinois and nine points at Penn State.

WELL TRAVELED
The Highlanders continue their road trip up north before getting a week break for finals next week. After facing (RV) Penn State this past Wednesday night, the trip moves right up to the American-Canadian border for their meeting with Niagara this Saturday. The game at Niagara will be the Highlanders furthest trip north since playing in the Ithaca Classic all the way back in 2006.
