SERIES HISTORY
Radford and College of Charleston have only met four times, but this season will mark the third straight year the two squads face off. The Cougars own a 4-0 lead in the all-time series. Last season the Highlanders played host to the Cougars for Education Day where Ashlyn Traylor-Walker led the team's scoring efforts with 12 points. Current Highlanders Olivia Wagner and Maci Rhoades also combined for five assists and eight points.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
The Cougars enter Thursday's meeting on a quick turnaround after playing South Carolina State Tuesday night coming out with a strong 84-64 victory. College of Charleston boasts a high-powered offense averaging over 80 points a game led by four different players averaging double figures scoring. Fifth year senior Jenna Annecchiarico leads the scoring efforts (15.6 ppg) while Alexis Andrews (15.4 ppg), Jada Logan (14.1 ppg) and Taryn Barbot (13.2 ppg) all also average double figures.

The Highlanders will mark the third and final Big South opponent that College of Charleston faces this season. In previous games, the Cougars picked up wins over Gardner-Webb (90-78) and Charleston Southern (70-60). The Cougars also have notable victories over Coastal Carolina (84-83, OT) and Jacksonville State (69-58).

RADFORD SWEEPS BIG SOUTH WEEKLY AWARDS
The Big South Conference announced Monday that Radford took home both weekly awards as Terissa Lavoile-Brice was named Freshman of the Week and Ashlyn Traylor-Walker was named Player of the Week.

Traylor-Walker earns her second Player of the Week nod as the beat goes on for the conference's leading scorer. The sophomore notched double digit scoring efforts in her eighth and ninth straight games this week in two wins. Lavoile-Brice earns her second Freshman of the Week award after another impressive week. The shots are falling for Radford's newcomer on the scene as she totaled 17 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists last week.

IMPROVEMENT AT THE FREE THROW LINE
After starting the season with struggles from the free throw line, Radford has turned it around as of late. In their first eight games the team combined to shoot just 80-128 (63%). In their last four games, the team has combined to shoot 46-59 (78%) earning 10+ trips to the charity stripe in all four games. When out-shooting opponents in free throws the Highlanders are 3-3 compared to just a 1-5 record when their opponent scores more off free throws.
