SERIES HISTORY
Radford owns a 54-29 record all-time against Charleston Southern, earning winning records both at home and on the road.

The Highlanders have won seven straight games against the Bucs, dating back to the 2018-19 season when the programs split the regular season series before Radford came out on top in the Big South Tournament.

CSU dropped the first meeting this season, with Radford adding to its win column with a 75-70 victory. DaQuan Smith went off for 19 points while Shaquan Jules had a monster double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Claudell Harris, Jr. nearly outdid them both, carrying his team with 31 points on 11-of-22 shooting.

SCOUTING THE BUCCANEERS
The last time the Highlanders went head-to-head with the Buccaneers, they entered the game 7-9 on the season and off to a 3-2 start in conference play. Radford fended them off and began a period in which Barclay Radebaugh's squad has lost seven of eight games and fallen down the Big South standings.

Defense has been their biggest issue by far, ranking 308th in the nation and last in the Big South with 74.5 points allowed per game. Opponents are shooting 45.9% against CSU and average just 11.3 turnovers per outing. That being said, the Buccaneers can score the ball as well as anyone in the league and put up 74.0 points a game to rank third in the league on offense.

Sophomore guard Claudell Harris, Jr. is quietly putting together an all-conference season, leading Charleston Southern with 18.2 points per game on 47.3% shooting. The duo of Taje' Kelly (5.5 rebounds) and Tyeree Bryan (5.3 rebounds) crash the boards hard and RJ Johnson paces the team with 3.0 assists per game.
