SERIES HISTORY
Radford is now 28-9 all-time against Longwood following a 63-59 victory on ESPNU in their first meeting this season. The Highlanders are now 17-2 against the Lancers while playing in the Dedmon Center, but 10-7 on the road in Willett Hall.

Nearly 2,500 fans packed the Dedmon Center on Jan. 26, and you can expect Longwood to fill up the stands in their arena this time. Justin Archer posted an 11-point, 11-rebound double-double while Josiah Jeffers, Bryan Antoine, and DaQuan Smith all provided double figure scoring.

Leslie Nkereuwem led his team with 11 points in just 14 minutes off the bench while Isaiah Wilkins had 10 points and five rebounds.

SCOUTING THE LANCERS
Picked in the 2022-23 Big South preseason poll to repeat as regular season champions, Longwood got off to a 7-1 start, but the loss at Radford started a streak in which they have lost four out of their last seven games.

The Lancers shot under 40.0% in defeats to Charleston Southern and USC Upstate, a part in a consistently dropping scoring average. That isn't to say Longwood is out of the race however, as a three-game winning streak in between the losses has them firmly in third with a great opportunity to overtake Radford with a win.

Griff Aldrich's squad ranks 16th in the nation in bench scoring thanks to incredible depth up and down the roster. They also rank 61st in scoring defense with just 65.6 points allowed on average. A +2.4 turnover margin, which ranks 48th in the country, is also a major factor in their success.

THREE GAMES LEFT
With just three games left in the race for a regular season title, here's a look at the opponents Radford still has left on the schedule:

  • Longwood | 18-10 overall | 10-5 Big South | 11-2 Home Record | 6-4 in Last 10 Games
  • High Point | 12-15 Overall | 4-11 Big South | 8-5 Home Record | 4-6 in Last 10 Games
  • Campbell | 12-15 Overall | 7-8 Big South | 4-8 Away Record | 5-5 in Last 10 Games
