Radford Falls to Campbell in Game Two

RADFORD, Va. — The Radford baseball team fell to No. 18 Campbell by a 25-6 final score on Saturday afternoon at Carter Memorial Stadium.

Catcher Julian Rojas went 3-for-5 with an RBI in the loss, while first baseman Tanner Barrs hit a three-run homer in the ninth inning, his third longball of the season.

The Highlanders (7-16, 0-2 Big South) also got offensive contributions from Paul Moore, who went 2-for-5.

Chance Daquila was the winning pitcher for Campbell (18-3, 5-0), pitching five scoreless innings. Dylan Howard took the loss for Radford.

UP NEXT
Radford will try to salvage game three of the series, as the two teams rematch on Sunday at 1 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
