Women’s Tennis Battles at St. John’s

QUEENS, N.Y. – The Radford women's tennis program fell against a tough opponent Wednesday afternoon 4-0 at St. John's in their first of two Spring Break matches up north.
Against the Red Storm the Highlanders were close on many courts. In doubles play, Camryn McClure and Ameek Batth were up 5-4 before going unfinished. Lexi Smolder was in the process of pushing to a third set on court three as she was in a tiebreaker 4-6, 6-6 before going unfinished. Batth was also battling on court six only down 5-6 in her second set before also going unfinished.
The Highlanders next match comes late tomorrow night at Monmouth with first serve set for 8:30 p.m..
