SERIES HISTORY
Radford and Gardner-Webb will meet for the 35th time in program history Wednesday night with Radford owning a 19-15 edge in the overall series. Gardner-Webb, however, has won the last five meetings with the two teams last squaring off in the 2023 Big South Semifinals that went to overtime before the Runnin' Bulldogs pulled away for the 89-81 final.

In those three games, sophomore Ashlyn Traylor-Walker totaled 38 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 assists. Returner Olivia Wagner also saw success against the Runnin' Bulldogs totaling 30 points, 6 steals and 7 assists.

SCOUTING THE RUNNIN' BULLDOGS
The Runnin' Bulldogs have seen a complete rebuild compared to the 2022-23 championship squad under first-year head coach Scott Merritt. The wins haven't fully come yet, but the pair of wins they do have are impressive over Appalachian State and a road win at Presbyterian. The offense is lead by sharpshooter Ashley Hawkins who average 14.8 ppg shooting 43% overall and 35% from three-point range.

ROAD WARRIORS
While two of the Highlanders three Big South victories have come at home so far, the team has spent plenty of time on the road this season picking up some big wins away from the Dedmon Center. Radford's first road win came in dominant fashion at Western Carolina 67-49. Ending a stretch of seven straight road games in December, Radford also took down Liberty in Lynchburg, Va. 57-45. Finally, to start Big South play, Radford defeated preseason favorites High Point 65-61.

WAGNER EARNS WEEKLY AWARD
In Olivia Wagner's first action since Dec. 17 due to injury, the sophomore thrived leading Radford to a pair of victories with some sharp three-point shooting. Against Winthrop, Wagner dropped a career-high 23 points thanks to 7-for-7 three-point shooting becoming the second Big South player to ever shoot a perfect mark that high and the first in Radford's history to do so. Against Winthrop, Wagner reached double figures scoring once again with a trio of three-pointers in the second half to lead an eventual comeback win.
