Men's Golf Clinches Third at Fripp Island Intercollegiate to Close Out Fall Schedule

FRIPP ISLAND, S.C. – A second straight tournament where a pair of top-15 finishes from Bobby Dudeck and Channing Blevins would lead the Highlanders to a 3rd place finish at the Fripp Island Intercollegiate to finish their fall season.
Graduate student Channing Blevins would have quite the performance on the course to lead the Highlanders on the individual leaderboard. Blevins would open with a 72 (+1) in the first round and record another 72 (+1) in the second as well. The third and final round would be his best as he would hit the 1-under par 70 mark to find himself in a tie for 8th at the event.
Bobby Dudeck wouldn't be far behind as he would finish 11th on the Individual leaderboard. Dudeck would open with a 2-under par 69 and follow up with an 78 (+7) in round two. He would bounce back in the third, securing another 69 (-2) to solidify 11th at the intercollegiate.
Louie Stott would finish just outside the top 20, placing in a tie for 21st. Stott would record a 72 (+1) in round one and follow up with a 74 (+3) and close out the third and final round with a 75 (+4).
Jack Urban would go on to record a 76-74-72 (+9), improving in each round to secure the tie for 21st place. Benson Blevins would round out the Highlander lineup, finishing in a tie for 33rd, recording a 71-78-80 (+16)
