EDUCATION DAY 2024!
The Radford women's basketball program will host local elementary and middle schools in celebration of Education Day during Thursday's game. Students, staff, and chaperones attending will receive free admission, as well as a souvenir poster they will have the opportunity to get autographed post-game.

SERIES HISTORY
Thursday's meeting will mark the 23rd meeting between the two programs with Hampton owning a 16-6 edge in the all-time series. Radford and Hampton last faced off in the first round of the Big South tournament at the conclusion of the 2021-22 season with the Lady Pirates pulling out the 55-49 win. The two teams were Big South foes from 2018-22 until the Lady Pirates moved to the CAA. Radford was 2-1 against Hampton at home during that stretch.

SCOUTING THE LADY PIRATES
The Lady Pirates are led by first-year head coach Tamisha Augustin who is fresh off her first victory with the program. Hampton downed Bowie State 65-55 in their home opener earlier this week. Graduate guard Jasha Clinton led the scoring efforts with 18 points on a 7-15 shooting clip, two of those made shots coming from beyond the arc. Le'Asia Foreman also came off the bench for 10 points and 7 rebounds.

Despite the new look at the head spot, Hampton boasts a wealth of experienced talent on their roster. Four seniors and two graduates fill the roster with the rest being either juniors or sophomores with no freshmen on the squad. Looking to rebound from a tough 2023-24 season, the team returned a consistent scorer in Jenae Dublin and leading rebounder in Foreman.

CARLSON SETS TONE
Sophomore Cate Carlson set the tone in her first career start against Duke earlier this week. The William & Mary transfer logged 10+ points for just the second time in her career thanks in part due to a pair of made three-pointers. Carlson was also the team's leader in rebounds with six and minutes leader with 25 against a physical Blue Devils squad.

FIREBAUGH SETS ASSIST MILESTONE
Graduate transfer Makayla Firebaugh immediately reached a milestone in her first game with the Highlanders against Duke earlier this week. With her team-best three assists in the game, she now owns 200 in her career. Firebaugh is set to play a major factor in the Highlanders offense this season after earning the start in game one.
