SERIES HISTORY
The Highlanders and Buccaneers face off for the 23rd time in program history Friday night with ETSU owning a 12-11 edge in the series. In last season's meeting, ETSU snapped a three-game winning streak by Radford in the series with a 49-45 final in the Dedmon Center. The Highlanders will look to return the favor in Johnson City, Tenn., which will also later host the Big South Tournament at the conclusion of the 2024-25 regular season.

The Highlanders and Hokies face off in an NRV clash for the 39th time in program history Sunday afternoon with Virginia Tech owning a 29-9 edge in the series. The meeting will mark the third time in the last four seasons that the two squads will face off in Blacksburg with Virginia Tech taking all three contests. In last season's meeting, then-freshman Joi Williams scored seven points with three made shots and a steal.

SCOUTING THE BUCCANEERS
With head coach Brenda Mock Brown in her third season at the helm, the Buccaneers are off to another solid start in nonconference play. Predicted to finish fifth in the SoCon, the Buccaneers have collected wins over Gardner-Webb, Tennessee Tech, Presbyterian and Memphis.

Senior transfer Braylyn Milton has been a big pickup for the Buccaneers leading the squad in scoring with 12.9 ppg. Preseason SoCon selection Kendall Folley leads the assisting efforts with 23 on the season while also scoring over six points a game.

SCOUTING THE HOKIES
The Hokies will mark the second ACC opponent Radford has faced this season with a first-year head coach as Megan Duffy is currently leading the team to a solid 7-3 record in her debut season with Virginia Tech. The Hokies have been unbeatable at home with a clean 5-0 record defeating UNC Wilmington, UNC Asheville, Coppin State, Rutgers and Elon.

Four Hokies currently boast scoring averages in double figures led by redshirt sophomore Carleigh Wenzel at 14.0 ppg. Senior Rose Micheaux is also an offensive and defensive threat for the Highlanders to watch out for as she averages 13.2 ppg to go with 8.5 rpg.

TRAYLOR-WALKER'S WEEKLY AWARD
Adelyn Traylor-Walker earned her first career start for the Highlanders this past week at Clemson and had a career performance. The redshirt freshman dropped a career-high 15 points with 11 of those points coming in the opening quarter. Her 15 points are the most scored by a Radford freshman this season. In a tight contest against Loyola (MD), she also added a single-game best four assists in the comeback effort.

FINAL DI TESTS IN NONCON
This weekend marks the final two Division I opponents on Radford's schedule before taking on Big South competition. The Highlanders will visit a strong SoCon foe in ETSU on Friday before finishing their run of ACC opponents at Virginia Tech on Sunday. Radford's final two contests of the nonconference slate come against UVA-Wise (Dec. 20) and Bluefield University (Dec. 29).
