LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Radford women's track & field program got its 2025 indoor season underway with the opening night of the Liberty Kickoff, hosted at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex on Thursday night.

NOTABLES
- The freshman duo of Makayla Nelson and Aliyah Taylor showed out in their first collegiate event as the two placed sixth and eighth in the women's long jump, respectively. Nelson led the way with a best leap of 5.41-meters while Taylor was right behind with a best mark of 5.39-meters.
- To make the performance even more special, Nelson is now ranked No. 9 and Taylor is No. 10 for the best marks in the event in school history.
-  Both Mya Rosser and Logan Babbs continued the strong showing for Radford as the two set personal bests with a sixth and 12^th-place performance in the women's weight throw.
- Rosser got the year started with a bang with a best chuck of 14.78-meters, a mark that set a PR by nearly a meter.
- Babbs also posted a personal best in the event with a best toss of 13.63-meters.
- Jaylen Rosser also competed in the women's weight throw and finished 13^th overall with a best mark of 13.46-meters.
