SERIES HISTORY
Radford and High Point meet for the second time this season after Radford used a valiant fourth quarter comeback to defeat the Panthers in their home stadium 65-61 in the Big South opener. Ashlyn Traylor-Walker made a statement dropping 27 points, a career-high, with five three pointers, four assists, four steals and two blocks. Just two of Ashlyn's 27 points came from the free throw line. Freshman Joi Williams was also electric with 14 points and a trio of threes. High Point currently owns a 34-24 edge in the series history, but Radford has won the last two straight meetings.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
The Panthers enter this weekend as the hottest team in the conference winning their last six straight games with wins in 10 of their last 11 total games. High Point is an undefeated 6-0 on the road in conference play, the only Big South team that hasn't lost a road conference game yet. The Panthers' Lauren Bevis is fighting Highlander Ashlyn Traylor-Walker for the lead in scoring for the Big South with the graduate transfer Bevis currently owning the slim edge averaging 16.0 ppg.

LAVOILE-BRICE LEADS THE SCORING
For the first time this season, freshman Terissa Lavoile-Brice led Radford's scoring efforts in their previous game at Winthrop. Lavoile-Brice scored 12 points off an efficient six-of-nine shooting performance with all six made shots coming in the paint. Lavoile-Brice has been a staple of the Highlanders' offense and that effort showed as well as she grabbed four offensive rebounds, a team-high for the game. On the season, 66 of her 150 rebounds have come on the offensive end which is another team best.

DEFENDING DEDMON
Radford's next two games come within the friendly confines of the Dedmon Center where Radford remains unscathed in conference play with a 5-0 record. With three of the team's final five games on the home court, Radford will look to take full advantage. Something will have to break in Saturday's contest, however, as the conference's lone home unbeaten team hosts the conference's lone road unbeaten team.
